Books on the Train

The Menu

The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing Flash Fiction: Tips from Editors, Teachers, and Writers in the Field, Tara L. Masih, ed.

This book made the long commute to and from work bearable on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Actually the part of the train ride where I get to read my book isn't so bad at all--it's the other train ride (much shorter) that's a pain, as I get on it at an intermediate stop, and the cars are always full.  Last week, I was able to get on the train but my bag wasn't--it was caught between the doors.

  1. I used to commute by train, but I got sick of it (as it seems you are), so I decided to ride my bike again. It’s great! I feel healthier, I save money and it’s good for the environment.

  2. Hi Brad! Unfortunately, bikes aren't an option where I live--there are no bike lanes to speak of--and road traffic is a huge mess. But maybe it will be one day! Thanks for stopping by. :)
