Today

Went to the Vargas Museum at UP; saw what seemed to be a blackbird (larger than your average maya; larger than a shrike; all black, with a chartreuse-colored beak) at one of the parking lots at ADMU; observed tiny butterflies suck honey out of wildflowers (also at the ADMU parking lot); discovered a really nice spot in between two buildings at ADMU, where you can literally turn away from the "world" and face a shady (human-made) "forest", where cicadas sing delightfully in the late afternoon; fell in love with an interesting tree growing at the parking lot in front of the UP Alumni Center bowling alley (huge leaves; strange fruit; smooth, light colored bark); had dinner and some conversation with Mr. Hubs and the little one.
