The Art of Syntax, by Ellen Bryant Voigt

Still digesting this. But this, I think, is the kind of thing I've been looking for. It has a wonderful discussion of Larkin's Cut Grass yesterday, which made me appreciate what was good about it. The lyric is deceptively simple, but actually very complicated, syntactically. Much to think about. Much to ponder.  Definitely something to use. :)
